Terms and Conditions
EDGE Terms of Registration
EDGE Workshop Series 2026–27 · The Exchange, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce · IB7 Consulting Ltd.
These terms apply to every registration for the EDGE Workshop Series delivered by IB7 Consulting Ltd. ("IB7") at The Exchange, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, 200 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. By submitting the registration form, the registrant and their company accept these terms.
1. The program
The EDGE package is sold per person and covers all four phases:
Evaluate: Friday 27 November 2026, 1:00–4:00 pm, The Exchange. Country focus: Mexico.
Develop: Friday 18 December 2026, 1:00–4:00 pm, The Exchange. Country focus: European Union.
Grow: Friday 22 January 2027, 1:00–4:00 pm, The Exchange. Country focus: Vietnam.
Execute: one 90-minute one-to-one launch clinic per company, booked between 1 February and 31 March 2027, in person or by video.
The package also includes the printed and digital EDGE Toolkit (16 tools, 9 checklists and 5 workbooks), a personal market-fit snapshot prepared from the registration form, session slides and tool files after each session, and an optional 30-minute readout call after each session.
Individual sessions are not sold separately. Each company receives one Execute clinic, which all of its registered attendees may join.
2. Fees
All fees are in Canadian dollars. GST (5%) is added to every fee.
| Registration | Fee | GST | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| EDGE package | $1,000.00 | $50.00 | $1,050.00 |
| EDGE package, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce members | $850.00 | $42.50 | $892.50 |
| EDGE package + Country Market Brief | $4,950.00 | $247.50 | $5,197.50 |
Every attendee holds their own package registration. The member rate requires a valid Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce membership, which IB7 may verify before issuing the invoice.
The Country Market Brief is a fixed-scope written report on one country chosen by the registrant, covering market fit, entry route, regulatory friction, landed cost and a recommended next step. IB7 delivers it within six weeks of the registrant confirming the country and providing the information IB7 requests. The country must be confirmed within 90 days of the registrant's last group session; after that, the Brief portion expires and is not refundable.
3. Registration and payment
Registration is made through the form on ib7consulting.com, one form per attendee. Ticking the acceptance box on the form accepts these terms.
The registrant's company is responsible for paying the fee.
IB7 sends an invoice by email within one business day of the registration.
Payment is by wire transfer, EFT direct deposit or Interac e-Transfer, quoting the invoice number. Card payments are not accepted.
Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, and in all cases before Friday 27 November 2026.
A seat is confirmed only when payment is received. IB7 may release a seat whose invoice is unpaid after its due date. Registration closes on Friday 20 November 2026, or earlier if all 25 seats are confirmed.
IB7 may decline any registration at its discretion; any amount already paid is then refunded in full.
IB7 will never change its bank details by email. If you receive a request to pay into different bank details, confirm with IB7 by phone before paying.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations must be sent by email to contact@ib7consulting.com.
Until Friday 13 November 2026 (14 days before Session 1): full refund of the fee paid.
From Saturday 14 November 2026 until Session 1: no cash refund. The full amount is held as a credit usable on a future EDGE cohort or toward any IB7 engagement within 12 months.
After Session 1 begins: fees are not refundable. The seat may be transferred to another person in the same company (section 5).
5. Transfers and missed sessions
A seat may be transferred to another person in the same company at any time, at no charge, by email to IB7.
A registrant who misses a group session receives the slides and tools and may book a 20-minute catch-up call within 14 days of that session.
Each company books its Execute clinic with IB7. A clinic may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours' notice; a clinic missed without that notice is forfeited.
An Execute clinic not used by 31 March 2027 expires and is not refundable or creditable.
6. Credit toward IB7 services
$1,000 credit toward an IB7 diagnostic or larger engagement signed within 90 days of the registrant's last group session, or
$500 credit toward a Country Market Brief ordered within 90 days.
One credit per company. Credits do not combine with each other or with other promotions and have no cash value. Companies registered in this 2026–27 Chamber cohort may combine the $1,000 credit with member pricing on IB7 consulting. Package + Country Market Brief registrations already include the bundled price and receive no further Brief credit. Credits apply to IB7's own fees only; fees that licensed partner firms bill directly for regulated work (section 11) are excluded.
7. If a session cannot run
Each session runs with a minimum of 8 paid registrations. Below that, IB7 may run the session as a facilitated roundtable with the same content and tools, or reschedule it. If IB7 cancels a session and no new date is acceptable to the registrant, IB7 refunds the unused portion of the fee: one quarter of the fee paid for each phase not delivered. If an event outside IB7's control prevents in-person delivery, the session may move online. IB7 may change guest speakers or country examples without notice. Guest speakers share their own views, which are not those of IB7.
8. Funding programs
Employer-sponsored training may qualify for programs such as Building Up Manitoba (BUMP) or, for tariff-impacted employers, the Canada-Manitoba Workforce Tariff Response Program. Each program decides eligibility and approval, not IB7. On request, IB7 provides the invoice, course outline and attendance confirmation. Fees are not conditional on funding approval. Where a program requires approval before training starts, registrants are responsible for applying in time.
9. Materials, intellectual property and recording
IB7 owns the EDGE method, toolkit, slides and tool files. They are licensed to the registrant for internal business use only and may not be resold, published, adapted for sale or used to deliver training to third parties.
The registrant keeps ownership of its own information, including what it enters on the registration form and in the worksheets.
Participants may not record sessions or clinics, in audio, video or by screen capture, without IB7's written permission.
IB7 works with companies across many sectors and may work with a registrant's competitors. Registration creates no exclusivity.
10. Confidentiality, privacy and consent
Information shared on the registration form or in clinics is confidential and used only to deliver the program and follow-up readouts. It is seen only by IB7 staff and contractors bound by confidentiality.
Registration and program data are stored with service providers whose servers may be outside Canada, including in the United States, where they may be subject to that country's laws. IB7 keeps registration and intake data for up to 24 months after the series ends, then deletes it, unless the registrant becomes a client.
Group discussions follow the Chatham House Rule: participants may use what they hear, but not identify who said it or which company it came from. Other participants may include competitors, so participants should not share trade secrets in group exercises or the hot seat. IB7 is not responsible for what other participants do with information shared in the room.
Registrants may ask to see or correct their personal information, or to withdraw consent, by email to contact@ib7consulting.com.
The registration form includes three optional consents, each unticked by default. Registration does not depend on any of them, and each can be withdrawn at any time by email.
Host summary: I agree that IB7 may include my company's intake and session information in an anonymized, aggregated summary shared with the host organization. My company and I will not be identified.
Updates from IB7: I agree to receive emails from IB7 Consulting Ltd. about future programs, events and services. I can unsubscribe at any time.
Case story: I agree that IB7 may contact me about featuring my company in a case story. Nothing is published without my written approval of the final text.
11. Regulated work, outputs and liability
IB7 does not practice law, sign audits or file tax returns in any jurisdiction. Where a registrant later engages IB7 to enter a market, regulated work (for example incorporation, tax registration, permits and legal opinions) is carried out by licensed firms in that jurisdiction, which contract with and bill the client directly and are responsible for their own work. IB7 coordinates the work and remains the client's point of contact.
Snapshots, landed-cost figures, regulatory traffic lights and other outputs are prepared from public data and are indicative only. They are not legal, tax, customs, regulatory or investment advice, and IB7 does not guarantee market results. Registrants make their own business decisions.
IB7's total liability for any claim related to the program is limited to the fee paid by the registrant.
12. Venue and conduct
Participants follow the rules of The Exchange, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and are responsible for their own belongings. IB7 is not liable for loss of or damage to personal property.
Accessibility or dietary needs can be noted on the registration form or sent by email; IB7 will make reasonable arrangements with the venue.
Participants are expected to treat others respectfully. IB7 may refuse or end participation for disruptive conduct, without refund.
Photos or recordings of participants are taken by IB7 only with their consent.
13. General
The terms in force on the date of registration apply to that registration. IB7 may update these terms for future cohorts.
Any disagreement is first discussed in good faith between the registrant and IB7. If it is not resolved within 30 days, either party may take it to the courts of Manitoba.
These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
