IB7 EDGE · Product 1 of 4

Forty-five minutes that change what your members do on Monday.

An IB7 EDGE Talk is a free session for a chamber, association or member webinar. One border question, answered with live intelligence on a real example, ending in three checks every company in the room can run themselves.

Why hosts book it

Member programming that is not another sponsor pitch.

The session has to earn the room's time on its own. If nobody books anything afterwards, the host has still put on a good hour.

01

It costs the host nothing

No fee, no sponsorship, no minimum attendance. We bring the content, the slides and the takeaway.

02

It is specific

One question, answered. Not an overview of exporting, not a tour of our services.

03

It tunes to your sector

The question and the method stay the same; the examples, regions and regulations change to match your membership.

How a Talk runs

Forty-five minutes, then up to fifteen of questions.

0–5 min
The question

What the session will answer, and why it matters this quarter rather than in general.

5–20 min
What has actually changed

The trade, tariff or regulatory shift behind the question, with the data on screen and the sources named.

20–35 min
A live read

We run one output on a public example in the room — a real company or sector, scored while they watch.

35–45 min
Three Monday checks

What every company present can go and check on its own, this week, without hiring anyone.

45–60 min
Questions

Open floor. This is usually where the room tells us what it actually needs.

You leave with

A takeaway, not a brochure.

01

One idea

The single thing worth acting on, stated in a sentence.

02

Three checks

Specific, free, and doable by whoever runs the business.

03

A one-page takeaway

The data on screen, the sources, and the three checks.

04

Where you stand

An optional four-question read that names your phase.

05

A named next step

If there is one. Sometimes the honest answer is “not yet”.

06

No sales call

We follow up once, by email, with what we said we would send.

Topics

Ten we deliver today.

Any of them can be tuned to the host's sector without becoming a different session. New topics are built when a host commits a date.

Who it is for

Rooms, not individuals.

We bring it to

A Talk is booked by an organization for its members, not by a company for itself.

  • Chambers of commerce and boards of trade
  • Industry and sector associations
  • Economic development offices, municipalities and trade offices
  • Accelerators, incubators and post-secondary programmes

A single company that wants this depth on its own case is asking for an IB7 EDGE Lab, which is the paid, hands-on version of the same question.

Before you book

What programming leads ask us.

Is it really free?
Yes, for the host and for the attendees. We deliver Talks because a room of companies with a border question is where our work starts. There is no sponsorship fee and no minimum attendance.
Will it be a sales pitch?
No. The session answers its question and ends with three things the room can do without us. We name what we sell once, at the end, in a sentence.
Can you deliver it in Spanish or French?
Yes. Spanish editions are delivered by people who work in that market, not translated on the day.
Can we run it as a webinar?
Yes — in person or live online. The live read works either way; the room questions are better in person.
How much notice do you need?
Four weeks for an existing topic, longer if you want it tuned to your sector or built new. Tell us the date you are holding and we will say honestly whether we can make it good by then.
Next step

Tell us about the room.

Who your members are, what they make, and what they keep asking you about. We will propose the topic that fits and send an outline before you commit to a date.
