Why now

“Sell more to the U.S.” has become a risky single bet.

Tariffs and trade shifts have changed the arithmetic. The IB7 EDGE Workshop helps Manitoba owners and managers choose the right next market and build a practical plan to reach it — working on their own company throughout, not on a case study.

The programme

Four phases, one package.

Sessions are not sold individually. The value is in carrying one market decision from Evaluate through to launch.

Group sessions at The Exchange, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, 200 Portage Avenue. Execute clinics in person or by video.

You leave with

Six things that outlast the session.

Before session 1

A personal Market Fit Snapshot

Prepared from your intake form, for your company and sector, before you walk in the door.

Throughout

The IB7 EDGE Toolkit

Sixteen tools, nine checklists and five workbooks — printable and as spreadsheets.

By the end

A Draft Entry Brief

For the market you choose during the programme.

By the end

A funding shortlist

Programs that may fit your company, with what each one asks for.

In your clinic

A launch gate and KPI dashboard

Set one-to-one, with scale-or-stop rules written down.

After each session

A free 30-minute readout

One-to-one, to work through what the session raised for your company.

How a session runs

Three hours, about 60% hands-on.

The teaching

A core idea, in plain language

Then two worksheets applied to your own company — not a case study, not someone else's numbers.

Country focus

Forty-five minutes on one market

A live market read plus a guest voice from that market, so the session carries something current.

The close

One company worked live

Then three actions each participant can take on Monday morning.

Who should attend

Whoever owns the export decision.

Owners, general managers and sales or operations leads of Manitoba manufacturers, food and beverage processors and service exporters — whether you have never exported or want to move beyond the United States.

Your fee comes back

Your full package fee is credited toward an IB7 diagnostic or larger engagement signed by 22 April 2027, or a partial credit toward a Country Market Brief. One credit per company; credits do not combine.

Founding-cohort guarantee

Attend Session 1. If the Workshop is not right for you, ask for a full refund. The dates and details are in the package terms.

Funding

Part of your fee may be covered.

Employer-sponsored training may qualify for Manitoba's Building Up Manitoba program, which covers a share of eligible costs, or — for tariff-impacted employers — the Canada-Manitoba Workforce Tariff Response Program. Each program decides eligibility, not IB7. Contact the program before training starts; we provide the course outline, invoice and attendance confirmation you will need.

After the Workshop

When you are ready to move, IB7 can walk the market with you: a Country Market Brief for one market, an IB7 diagnostic, or a full IB7 EDGE Engagement. For Mexico, IB7 coordinates a 90-day soft landing; licensed firms in the market carry out the regulated work.

Next step

Register, or ask a question first.

Seats are capped at 25 and sessions are sold as one package. If you want to talk it through before registering, book a readout.
